Leszek Wacirz Appointed as New CEO of Nestle Turkey
Leszek Wacirz, who has held senior management positions across various regions within Nestle for 27 years, has been appointed as CEO of Nestle Turkey. Leszek Wacirz will assume his duties as of 1 January 2022. The Board of Directors of Nestle, the world's leading food company, has decided to continue its operations with a new regional restructuring aimed at creating a more agile business model. In line with the structural changes to be implemented as of 2022, Yasser Abdul Malak, who has served as CEO of Nestle Turkey, has been appointed as General Manager of the Middle East and North Africa Region within the Asia, Oceania and Africa Division. Yasser Abdul Malak, who is very familiar with the relevant region due to his previous experience, has handed over his position in Turkey to Leszek Wacirz, who has been leading senior positions within Nestle for 27 years. Most recently serving as General Manager of Nestle Southeast Markets (Adriatic, Bulgaria, Romania) and Country Manager for Romania, Leszek Wacirz will assume his duties in Turkey as of 1 January 2022. With his significant experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, strong leadership, global vision and management expertise, Wacirz will be responsible for managing Nestle Turkey, one of the most important markets in the Nestle world.Advertisement
