Konya Şeker Receives Sustainable Safe Production Certificate
Three facilities producing for Konya Şeker's Torku brand have qualified to receive the TSE Sustainable Safe Production certificate.
According to a statement from Konya Şeker, Torku, one of Turkey's leading food brands, has crowned its success in maintaining quality without compromise in production with Safe Production certificates obtained from TSE.
The Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), which conducted meticulous work in preparing the Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines for Sustainable Safe Production and provides guidance to organizations within their fields of activity with the mission of raising the living standards of society, awarded the "TSE Sustainable Safe Production Certificate" to Panagro Agricultural Livestock Food Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company, Çumra Sweet Products-Snacks Branch, and Seydibey Agricultural Products Processing Integrated Facilities, all entities within the Konya Şeker group. Konya Şeker became the first institution in Turkey's food sector to receive this certificate with 3 major facilities simultaneously. Torku once again certified its hygiene, quality and reliability in its products.
In the statement, it was noted that the certificate, granted with the aim of ensuring the sustainability of safe production by enabling organizations to manage their general capability to continue operations during interruptions caused by contagious diseases, as well as to provide their controls and preparations, is held by Torku due to its full compliance with food safety, quality production and hygiene rules in production.
