Four Konya Şeker Companies in ISO 500 List

According to the results of the Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises Survey announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO), Konya Şeker took place on the İSO 500 list this year with 4 companies. According to Konya Şeker's statement, Konya Şeker, which ranked 64th on the İSO 500 list announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry last year, moved up one position to 63rd this year. On the list, Soma Thermal Power Plant Inc. ranked 209th, Kangal Thermal Power Plant Inc. 320th, and Panagro Agriculture and Livestock Inc. 322nd. Anadolu Birlik Holding subsidiaries, which appeared with 3 companies on the 2021 İSO 500 list, increased the number of companies on the list to 4 this year. While Kangal Thermal Power Plant's jump of 183 positions stood out, Soma Thermal Power Plant achieved another successful rise, climbing 43 positions. Meanwhile, Konya was represented by 7 companies on the İSO list. This means that Konya ranked 13th in the ranking of industrial enterprises among Turkey's top 500. On the list where Konya Şeker ranked first, Eti Aluminum Inc. ranked 139, AYD Automotive Industry Manufacturing and Trading Inc. 176, TÜMOSAN Motor and Tractor Manufacturing Inc. 291, Panagro Agriculture and Livestock Food Manufacturing 322, Enka Dairy and Food Products Manufacturing 361, and Ova Flour Mill Inc. ranked 409th. It was noted that of the 7 companies affiliated with Konya Chamber of Industry, 2 were subsidiaries of Anadolu Birlik Holding. In the food sector, Konya Şeker strengthened its position as a food giant in Turkey. Following Konya Şeker, Abalıoğlu Oil Manufacturing and Trading Inc., SÜTAŞ Dairy Products Inc., Şenpiliç, and Bunge Food followed on the food sector list. On the other hand, in the energy sector, Anadolu Birlik Holding subsidiaries Soma Thermal Power Plant and Kangal Thermal Power Plant managed to rank in the top 20 within the sector. Soma Thermal Power Plant ranked 13th, and Kangal Thermal Power Plant ranked 17th.
