Major Investment Move for Guru Gıda

Dr. Aslı Zuluğ, a faculty member at Özyeğin University, founded Guru Healthy Food, which is known for its products in the healthy nutrition sector. The company raised investment in its first funding round at a valuation of USD 2.5 million. The company, established with the vision of "healthy food in the light of science," counts among its initial investors Umur Özal from Galata Business Angels, Işılay Ilgın Ceylanlı and Rıza Kadılar from Arya Women Investment Platform, and individual angel investors Bedia Erden, Mehmet Uslu, Murat Tortopoğlu and Mustafa Ülker. The startup is also supported by TÜBİTAK and Royal Academy. Dr. Aslı Zuluğ, a faculty member in the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department at Özyeğin University and founder of Guru Healthy Food, who was also the recipient of the 2020 IWEC Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award, commented on the matter as follows: "With this investment, we are entering a period of accelerated growth. As a company that argues that nutritious foods can also be delicious, we are counting down the days to introduce our new products to our consumers.
