Gedik Piliç receives 'Zero Waste' certificate
Gedik Piliç, one of the sector's leading brands through its investments in poultry and technological infrastructure, has been honored with a 'Zero Waste' certificate by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanism and Climate Change.
Gedik Piliç, one of Turkey's leading poultry companies, continues to lead its sector through breakthroughs in production and export. In addition to its successes in production and export, Gedik Piliç, which closely follows technological developments, was awarded a 'Zero Waste' certificate by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanism and Climate Change in recognition of its activities conducted under the slogan "Zero waste for a greener world."
In the certificate presented to Gedik Piliç through the Uşak Provincial Administration, it stated: "Gedik Poultry and Agricultural Products Trade. Ind. Co. Ltd.; has qualified to receive the 'Zero Waste' certificate by establishing a 'Zero Waste Management System' pursuant to the Zero Waste Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 12 July 2019 and numbered 30829."
Osman Gedik, Chairman of the Board of Gedik Piliç, stating that they operate without ever compromising the slogan "Zero waste for a greener world," said: "We are aware that one of the biggest problems threatening our world in our time, the climate and environmental crisis, makes sustainability policies inevitable.
Starting from this understanding, we have implemented the Zero Waste project to prevent waste generation and waste, and to use resources more efficiently. We will continue our work without ever compromising our zero waste policy for a livable world to leave for the future."
