Eksun Gıda Reports Strong Financial Performance: Net Profit Up 30%

Eksun Gıda, a leading flour producer in Turkey, disclosed its mid-year 2025 financial results and strategic developments through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). In the first 6 months of 2025, Eksun Gıda's net sales revenue reached TRY 5 billion, with gross profit of TRY 562.2 million. Operating under the Sinangil and Sinangil Gluten YOK brands with over 200 product varieties, Eksun Gıda reiterated its strong and stable growth potential through its second-quarter report shared with the public.
According to results prepared under Turkish Accounting Standards 29 (TMS 29), the company's gross profit margin was 11.2%. Based on data without inflation accounting application, the company strengthened its financial position by achieving TRY 129 million net period profit in the first 6 months of the year.

Hasan Abdullah Özkan, Chairman and CEO of Eksun Gıda Group, stated the following in his announcement:
"Our company achieved significant improvement in gross profit and margin compared to the same period of the previous year, as well as strong growth in EBITDA. In the first 6 months of this year, our gross profit increased by 6.1% to TRY 562.2 million.
While our company reported an operating loss of TRY 41.5 million in the same period of the previous year, this year we achieved operating profit of TRY 67.1 million. EBITDA, which was TRY 21.3 million, increased to TRY 143.8 million.
Based on data without inflation accounting application, we reached TRY 129 million net period profit in the first 6 months of the year, achieving a 30% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. These results demonstrate that we are advancing steadily toward our targets on the path to sustainable growth."
Contributing to sustainability through renewable energy investment
One of the notable developments in Eksun Gıda's recent investment process was the licensing of Babaeski Tarım Ürünleri Lisanslı Depoculuk A.Ş. With this step, the company aims to strengthen operational reliability by increasing storage capacity in its raw material supply chain.
Additionally, the Investment Incentive Certificate obtained by Eksun Gıda for its EKSUN-3 renewable energy power plant with 7,000 kW capacity stands out as a strategic move in sustainable production and transition to green energy. This investment has the potential to contribute to environmental sustainability while creating long-term benefits in energy costs. The company is also continuing its work on the EKSUN-2 Wind Energy Power Plant Project with a capacity of 11,900 kW.
