Cargill Announces Senior Appointments Cargill announced senior-level appointments to lead its META food solutions unit. According to the company statement, Cargill is strengthening and transforming its global organizational structure to deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions to customers, while making six executive appointments in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region. Cargill, which is committed to raising the proportion of women in leadership positions globally to 50% by 2030, moved closer to this goal with the appointments made. Accordingly, Banu Öksün was appointed Food Solutions Portfolio Director under the Meat and Dairy Alternatives Group, Sonat Akat as META Edible Oils Product Group Director, Tuba Çetin as Food Solutions META Legal Department Head, Ayşe Arslan as Food Solutions META Finance Director, Cem Beysel as META Starches, Sweeteners and Thickeners Product Group and Sustainability Director, and Demokan Konyalıgil as Food Solutions META Government Affairs and External Communications Director.
