BEE'O Propolis R&D and Production Facility Achieves Major Milestone BEE'O Propolis, Turkey's patented domestic propolis manufacturer, has obtained "FDA Approved Facility" certification following a rigorous quality inspection conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with strict enforcement standards. BEE'O Propolis manufactures propolis, royal jelly, pollen, bee bread and raw honey with preserved natural nutrient content and biological activity under the BEE'O and BEE'O UP brands in Turkey and the BEE&YOU brand abroad; as well as 100% natural blends containing bee products, tablets, drops, sprays, shots, syrups, capsules, medical devices and skincare products in its own facility. The company has earned the "FDA Approved Facility" certification following a rigorous quality inspection conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with strict enforcement standards. The intensive five-day inspection was accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The company, which completed the FDA inspection with exceptional success as one of only five food businesses from Turkey participating this year, has now certified that its R&D and production facility complies with international standards.  

"Exports to 30 countries"

The company exports Anatolian bee products to 30 different countries including the United States, Netherlands, Italy, France and South Korea. The firm, which has won American consumers' favour with natural and organic food, food supplements and dermo-cosmetic products, holds the distinction of being America's only patented propolis brand. The patented propolis extraction technology developed under the intensive R&D efforts of the company's founder and General Manager Dr. Aslı Elif Tanuğur Samancı produces "Anatolian Propolis (A.P.E.)", which is America's only patented propolis. When the unique flora of the Anatolian geography in bee product manufacturing comes together with the company's expert team, patented pure Anatolian propolis with at least 15 different phenolic and flavonoid content is produced.

Moreover, it is issued following a quality inspection conducted with strict enforcement standards. We have successfully completed the FDA inspection, which is a determining quality standard in strengthening the position of Anatolian bee products in international markets. Our facility, which produces products within food, food supplements, cosmetics and medical devices, has certified its quality once again by obtaining this approval. With a team having over 45 years of experience in bee products and rising to become Turkey and Europe's largest propolis production facility in 10 years, our company is advancing with confidence in introducing Anatolian Propolis to the world," he said.
