Azelis expands partnership with Tate & Lyle for Turkish food and nutrition market

Azelis expands distribution partnership with Tate & Lyle to develop its innovative food and beverage ingredients portfolio in Turkey. Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients sector, has announced a new distribution agreement with Tate & Lyle, a leading global company in component solutions for healthy food and beverages, to serve customers in Turkey. This business cooperation, which takes effect immediately, is based on a successful partnership between Tate & Lyle and Azelis that began in Serbia in 1999 and has expanded across Iberia, France, the United Kingdom and Ireland, Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Tate & Lyle is a recognized supplier in the food ingredients industry that uses innovative technology to transform raw materials into components and solutions that add taste, texture, nutrients and additional functionality to food and beverages. With this agreement, Azelis aims to provide its customers in Turkey with a complete product portfolio consisting of starches, low-calorie and natural sweeteners, fibers and stabilizer systems, thereby strengthening its comprehensive value chain. Azelis's long-standing relationship with Tate & Lyle, in addition to its technical expertise and close ties with customers, contributed to the expansion of this business cooperation. Successful synergy created in the renovated Food and Nutrition laboratory in Istanbul through established relationships with key managers also played a decisive role in the partnership. The laboratory is also well-positioned to develop various formulations with products sourced from the EU, enabling the reduction of carbon footprint and shorter supply chains.
