Pilot Chemical Makes Strategic Move
Pilot Chemical Corp announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Integrity Bio-Chemicals (IBC) to become the exclusive marketer of IBC's Tegrasurf™ high-performance biosurfactant series in North American Household, Industrial and Institutional (HI&I) markets. The Tegrasurf™ products deliver a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to many traditional surfactants, while also demonstrating superior performance in foam stability and surface tension reduction.
The partnership with IBC will enable Pilot Chemical to offer a local, alternative nonionic surfactant supply to reliably meet the needs of the HI&I market. The Tegrasurf™ series strengthens Pilot Chemical's position in the biosurfactant market, addressing growing consumer demand for sustainable, bio-based and biodegradable ingredients.
Richard Rehg, Vice President Commercial at Pilot Chemical Corp, said: "Working with Integrity Bio-Chemicals complements our innovation efforts to address evolving needs in the HI&I market. The addition of IBC's biodegradable and sustainable products now allows us to offer our customers different options."
Michael Suver, Vice President at IBC, said: "The agreement with Pilot enables Integrity Bio-Chemicals to expand our novel surfactant technology into new markets with a leader in the HI&I space. This partnership allows both companies to leverage their strengths and bring a new class of sustainable and high-performance products to the market."
Products will be available for sale under the Pilot Chemical label in North American HI&I markets beginning in June 2022.
