Mitreapel Registered as a "Well-Known Trademark" by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office

BETA Kimya A.Ş. reported that Mitreapel, one of its generic brands, has been registered as a Well-Known Mark by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. Mitreapel, which has operated in the adhesive products sector for over 30 years, became the first domestic brand to acquire this status in its field. BETA Kimya A.Ş., one of Turkey's largest adhesive and glue manufacturers, continues to achieve firsts in its sector with the Mitreapel brand. Mitreapel, which was included in the Brand Support Program under TURQUALITY last year, has taken another step that will provide extra prestige in the national and international arena. Mitreapel has been registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office as the first domestic Well-Known Mark in its sector. The Well-Known Mark registration, which can be held by brands that simultaneously meet many criteria such as high quality, recognition and international service networks, will protect Mitreapel against counterfeiting and infringement. By joining the ranks of prestigious brands with Well-Known Mark status, Mitreapel has elevated its brand prestige to the next level alongside its innovative products.
