Other KTSD Board of Directors members are as follows:
  • Sibel Tüzün
  • Ebru Şenel Erim
  • Merve Memişoğlu

  • Hande Karakülah
  • Güray Yıldız
  • Eser Arıcı
  • Nilgün Kızmaz
  • Sema Toraman
  • Nazlı Adıgüzel
  • Özlem Berke
KTSD Board of Directors Chairman Ahmet Pura said in his speech, "We produce products that contribute to public health; since the beginning of the pandemic we have operated at nearly 100% capacity. Even during periods of restriction, with the support of the bureaucracy, we ensured continuity of production and uninterrupted delivery to our consumers. As of the end of 2021, we estimate the sector reached TRY 53 billion in total revenue, comprising TRY 19.6 billion in cosmetics products, TRY 17 billion in cleaning products, and TRY 16.4 billion in hygiene paper products. According to domestic and foreign trade data, exports from our sectors reached USD 2.4 billion, while imports reached USD 1.4 billion."

"The cosmetics and cleaning products sector has growth potential in Turkey"

Noting that there are approximately 25 million households in Turkey and that sector products are sold through around 200,000 retail points, reaching nearly all households and connecting with an average of 3-4 consumers in each, Pura stated, "This widespread distribution and access increases our responsibility in the sector significantly. In the sector represented by KTSD, approximately 5,000 companies are active, providing employment to 120,000 people directly and indirectly. However, we observe that consumption levels and growth trends in our country remain considerably lower compared to both global and European Union average consumption figures. Currently, there are substantial investment opportunities in our sector."
