Eczacıbaşı Selects Supplier for New Tissue Paper Line
Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri has selected Valmet as supplier for a new tissue paper line at its Manisa plant. The new Valmet Advantage DCT 200TS series, which includes pulp preparation, automation and Focus Reel Winding machine, will support the company's rapid growth in global tissue paper markets.
Valmet previously supplied Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri' Manisa facility with an Advantage DCT 200 tissue paper line that was commissioned in 2015.

Production Line Equipped with Valmet DNA Automation System
The delivery will consist of a complete tissue paper production line including Valmet pulp preparation systems and the Advantage DCT 200TS tissue paper machine. The machine comprises an OptiFlo pulp chest, Advantage ViscoNip press with BlackBelt technology and Advantage AirCap equipped Yankee dryer cylinder with a Focus Reel Winding machine. The delivery also includes a comprehensive Valmet DNA Automation System with process, machine and drive controls as well as machine condition monitoring capabilities. The Valmet IQ Quality Control System (QCS) with IQ Scanner, IQ Fiber Measurement, MD Controls and CD Controlled IQ Dilution System ensures high product quality. The delivery scope also includes the Valmet IQ Web Inspection System (WIS), which analyzes defects in the tissue quickly and in detail. Engineering, installation supervision, training and commissioning will all be provided by Valmet. The tissue paper machine will have a width of 5.6 m and a design speed of 2,200 m/min. The new line will produce high-quality facial tissues, napkins, toilet paper and kitchen towels for end-consumer and commercial use. The raw material for the production line will be virgin fiber. The production line has also been optimized to provide energy savings and enhance final product quality.Advertisement
