Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri Receives Certificate from Turkish Standards Institution The Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) has prepared a "Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Guide for Sustainable Safe Production" to be implemented across all institutions and organizations regardless of sector. Based on the prepared guide, the TSE initiated conformity assessment activities for organizations and awarded its first certificate to Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri, which successfully passed inspections. At the ceremony held, the certificate was presented to Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri by Quality Assurance Manager Yeşim Günday on behalf of the company, and was awarded by Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede and Turkish Standards Institution President Mahmut Sami Şahin. Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri became the first organization in Turkey to receive the "Sustainable Safe Production Certificate" issued by the Turkish Standards Institution. Having successfully completed the comprehensive inspections carried out by the Institution with full compliance and earning the right to receive the certificate, Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri has once again demonstrated its success in the field of safe production. Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri, which received the "Sustainable Safe Production Certificate" that began to be issued as of 2023, earned this recognition through its operations at the Gebze Chemical Products Production Facility, where it manufactures products under the Uni Baby, Selin and Maratem brands. The company had also qualified to receive the TSE-approved "Covid Safe Production Certificate" during the pandemic period.

Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri Chief Executive Officer Bülent Kozlu stated on the matter: "As Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri, we work to be part of every moment of life for clean and healthy living. At our four production facilities in Turkey, we produce and supply hygiene products in personal care, baby care, home care and out-of-home channels. Carrying out our production safely and hygienically is a natural part of our operations. We are proud to be the first organization deemed worthy of the 'Sustainable Safe Production Certificate' which demonstrates that this has been officially recognized by the Turkish Standards Institution. The "Hygiene, Infection Prevention and Control Guide for Sustainable Safe Production" prepared by the TSE through an intensive research and evaluation process regarding global challenges faced, guides all institutions and organizations across different sectors on how to prevent exposure to infectious agents and how to manage risks arising from infectious diseases. The guide also increases the general capability of organizations to continue operations during restrictions caused by infectious diseases while ensuring necessary controls are in place. Organizations that successfully pass inspections carried out by the Institution in accordance with the prepared guide are eligible to receive the "Sustainable Safe Production Certificate".
