New Patented Adhesive-Containing Building Protection Underlay Unveiled
Concrete roof tile manufacturer Eagle Roofing and insulation and coating materials company APOC have partnered to develop a next-generation underlayment that is more resistant to impacts and damage caused by severe weather conditions.
The matte-finish underlayment was developed utilizing APOC's three-component proprietary adhesive and reinforced seam technology that increases water barrier capacity.
Regardless of whether the roofing material is concrete tile or metal, this product—designed for both commercial and residential buildings—can be mechanically fastened or adhered with foam or a combination of both methods.
Eagle Roofing stated that 100% of its matte-finish heavy-duty polyester underlayment is leak-proof, nail-sealable, and UV-resistant, and also offers greater resistance to high temperatures and tensile stress.
