Boron Miracle in Insulation

The Miracle of Boron in Insulation BORPAINT, Boron-Mineral Heat Insulation products are based on boron ore. As is known, 72% of the world's total boron ore reserves are located in our country, and this mineral has a very wide range of applications. Starting out with the question of whether it would be possible to create a product that would provide excellent heat and water insulation, would not burn, and would not add weight to the building, our R&D team, through intensive work, developed our products under the BORPAINT brand and presented them to the service of our country. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that our products are pioneering technology both in our country and in the world. BORPAINT is a special heat insulation paint formulated for both interior and exterior surfaces, produced entirely in Turkey using domestic resources with boron additives, featuring vapor permeability and breathability properties, and providing excellent degrees of heat, sound, fire and water insulation on both interior and exterior facades. The special formula that makes up BORPAINT, in addition to high-quality heat and water insulation properties, eliminates thermal bridges and the temperature difference between the wall surface and the surrounding air, thereby preventing condensation formation, thus gaining excellent mold-prevention properties. It also has antibacterial properties. The boron additives contained in BORPAINT, acrylic copolymers, special pigments, and fillers create a special formulation that provides the product with a low thermal conductivity coefficient, offering excellent heat insulation properties and the ability to absorb sound waves. Heat insulation and sound absorption properties, while varying according to the thickness applied, provide energy savings of up to 50%. The fire-retardant boron compounds in BORPAINT provide the necessary fire protection for the building (in terms of duration, smoke amount, no dripping, fire non-progression, etc.). When BORPAINT is applied to interior wall and ceiling surfaces, it reflects the heat generated indoors back inward and traps it, preventing it from escaping. When used on exterior facades, it reflects hot and cold air waves like a mirror, preventing them from penetrating the building surface and thus the interior space. BORPAINT boron heat insulation paint is produced entirely from natural ingredients, therefore it does not contain any substances harmful to health. It can be easily applied to any type of surface, bringing comfort in living spaces to the highest level. BORPAINT is resistant to dust, hot and cold water. It cannot be damaged by insects and pests. BORPAINT boron heat insulation paint, being a durable product with long-term use, does not deteriorate over time, does not rot, does not mold, and does not corrode or rust. It can be used on interior surfaces and exterior facades of buildings. It provides heat, water, sound and fire insulation simultaneously, creating a safe, economical and comfortable living space. The general perception among people is that the thicker the insulation, the better it will be. We are confident that this understanding will disappear once users become acquainted with BORPAINT products; thickness no longer matters in heat insulation. If we were to explain this with an example, the thick coats and sweaters of the past have been replaced by thin thermal clothing today. Of course, technological advances have made this possible. Our products can be viewed with this same logic; we can attribute the success of our product to the technology we have achieved through our R&D work. Heat transfer is an energy transfer resulting from temperature difference. Whenever a temperature difference exists, continuous heat transfer occurs. Since the boron ore we use in BORPAINT boron heat insulation paint has very low heat transfer properties, temperature is transferred to the next layer to an insignificant degree, very minimally. Our products provide excellent protection against heat and cold, and can be used on both exterior facades and interior surfaces. When applied as ceiling paint, it prevents heat generated within the space from escaping and provides savings.

BORSTUCCO Heat Insulation Plaster

Our other product, BORSTUCCO Heat Insulation Plaster, has very different properties compared to similar products. Its most striking feature is that it is a standard product ready for use immediately upon opening. Other heat insulation plasters are generally in powder form. On the construction site, workers empty them into buckets and mix them with water to prepare for use. However, the non-standardization of the water amount used during this preparation and the failure to achieve complete homogeneity in mixing can cause the material to crack and crumble after application to the wall. With BORSTUCCO Heat Insulation Plaster, such risks do not exist, because the product is prepared in a factory environment and within the same formula framework. Thus, workers can immediately start using the product when they open the bucket lid. Another major advantage of BORSTUCCO Heat Insulation Plaster is that it can provide adequate and quality heat insulation at only 4-5 mm thickness.

BORFIREPROOF Fire-Resistant Paint

Another product we manufacture with boron additives is our BORFIREPROOF Fire-Resistant Paint. With its property of not burning even at 1450 degrees, this product can play a life-saving role, especially in numerous structures such as schools, hotels, nurseries, and hospitals. Its applications are very broad, and can be listed as follows. • Load-bearing sections of buildings, • Safe escape tunnels, • All types of plastered, painted and unpainted interior and exterior surfaces as well as concrete, wood, pipe systems and steel structures, • Drywall partitions and ceilings, • All spaces where fire resistance is desired, • Hospitals, theaters, schools, nurseries and cinema halls and other spaces with mass occupancy, • Military facilities, factories, thermal power plants and industrial buildings, • Roofs and facades, fire escape stairs, chimneys, • Locations with explosion risk such as boiler rooms, • Air ducts to prevent smoke and heat spread, • Piping and areas through which pipes pass.
