Victaulic Acquires Utility Coatings & Fabrication
Victaulic, a leading developer and manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining systems, has acquired Utility Coatings & Fabrication, Inc. (UCF), based in Utah.
This acquisition, aligned with the company's strategy to manufacture products in the United States, supports growth in Infrastructure, Water, Energy and Commercial construction markets by expanding large-scale pipe solutions, manufacturing, coating and lining capacity. The newly acquired manufacturing and coating facility aims to increase the company's large-scale pipe system production capacity.
Rick Bucher, President and Chief Executive Officer of Victaulic, stated: "This acquisition represents Victaulic's fourth consecutive investment over the past four years and underscores the company's strategic vision for continued growth. Victaulic is committed to meeting the demands of our North American customer base by expanding manufacturing capacity in the western United States."

A key aspect of Victaulic's business strategy has always been to manufacture close to its customers. The addition of UCF and its affiliated facilities encompasses more than 21,000 square feet of manufacturing space and more than 5 acres of land. Since 2011, Victaulic has established more than 1.4 million square meters of foundry and manufacturing capacity in North America.
