General Manager Appointment Made at Türk Ytong

Tolga Öztoprak has been appointed to the position of General Manager at Türk Ytong, a long-established company in the building materials sector. Tolga Öztoprak, who has held various positions at Türk Ytong for 16 years, including senior management roles, took up his new position as of 1 October 2022. Tolga Öztoprak, an experienced executive, has been appointed General Manager at Türk Ytong, an autoclaved aerated concrete producer and building materials company. Tolga Öztoprak, who gained experience in roles such as Sales Manager and Product Manager at Türk Ytong since 2006 and has served as Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Marketing since 2012, was appointed as General Manager of Türk Ytong as of 1 October 2022. Tolga Öztoprak, thanking the members of the Türk Ytong Board of Directors for their confidence in him, made the following statement: "I have always felt great honor in being part of Türk Ytong, which has been operating successfully in Turkey for 59 years. I have spent 16 years under the Türk Ytong roof. I am pleased to take on the responsibility of carrying a company with such deep-rooted traditions and values into the future and to be appointed to this important position. At Ytong we are working on building solutions that improve living spaces. I am very pleased that together with all my colleagues, we will serve this purpose in the best possible way."     Tolga Öztoprak was born in Ankara in 1973 and graduated from TED Ankara Koleji and the Civil Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University. He completed his MBA in marketing specialization at La Salle University. Öztoprak, who gained experience in building materials sales and marketing at companies of Swedish and Finnish origin, served for 3 years as Product Sales and Marketing Manager at United Concrete Products in the United States. Since 2006, Tolga Öztoprak has held various positions at Türk Ytong Sanayi A.Ş., including senior management roles, and was appointed as General Manager as of 1 October 2022. Öztoprak holds the EIT certificate required for Professional Engineering License in America and serves on the boards or committees of organizations such as the European Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Manufacturers Association (EAACA), Turkish Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Manufacturers Association (TGÜB), Environmentally Friendly Green Buildings Association (ÇEDBİK), Turkish Building Materials Manufacturers Association (Türkiye İMSAD), Roof Manufacturers and Businessmen Association (ÇATIDER), and Turkish Structural Steel Association (TUCSA).
