Türk Ytong Holds 50th Ytong Authorized Dealers Meeting

Türk Ytong held the 50th Ytong Authorized Dealers Meeting online. Under the theme "Always Together, Yesterday to Tomorrow," Türk Ytong Authorized Dealers and the Sales Marketing Team shared their targets for 2021.

The 50th Ytong Authorized Dealers Meeting, broadcast live from Ytong Headquarters, included an assessment of 2020 and updates on the company and sector. Hosted by Kadir Çöpdemir, the event featured an interview with Cemal Akkanlar, one of Ytong's first authorized dealers. Authorized dealers from Denizli, Bursa and Istanbul, who achieved the year's strongest results, received their awards as live broadcast guests. The meeting also recognized authorized dealers who have collaborated with Ytong for many years as well as those who achieved success in 2020.

We took measures, production continued

Board Chairman Fethi Hinginar addressed 2020, stating that the construction sector, already facing difficulties in recent years, was negatively affected like all sectors by the pandemic. Hinginar added that they continued production uninterruptedly in factories from the start of the year and said, "Thanks to the measures we took, we stand firm today as Türk Ytong despite all the extraordinary challenges of 2020, and we continue to look toward the future with confidence for 2021. We are ready for a period in which we will advance toward success with projects that will shed light on the future and take us and our country forward."

Flagship of the sector

Fethi Hinginar, emphasizing the significance of Türk Ytong and its Authorized Dealers marking the 50th meeting, said "This year we will celebrate the 98th anniversary of our Republic. In 58 of those 98 years, as Türk Ytong, we have proudly carried our flag and become one of the most reliable institutions in this country. With our steps we have always been pioneers, leaders, symbols of contemporary living. Together with you, we became a large family and one of the flagships of our sector. We have and will continue to walk side by side in stormy, turbulent seas without being tossed about."

Deputy General Manager Tolga Öztoprak addressed key indicators related to the construction sector and evaluated 2020 sales and marketing activities. He shared targets set for 2021.

At the awards ceremony that followed, seniority plaques were presented to companies that have been Ytong authorized dealers for periods ranging from 5 to 35 years. Additionally, authorized dealers who achieved sales success in 2020 were recognized and presented with plaques.
