Teknos Germany Relocates Production to Brüggen Facility Teknos Deutschland GmbH recently completed a strategic review of its production regions in Germany. The purpose of this review was to develop plans to facilitate the identification of operational regions while identifying existing opportunities to further improve Teknos Deutschland GmbH's production and delivery capabilities. As a result of this review, Teknos abandoned its decision to commence production at the new factory in Steinau an der Straße and announced plans to halt its operations in Fulda. After evaluating its current locations, Teknos determined that the Brüggen site offers more expansion and development options. Therefore, Teknos plans to relocate production from Fulda to its existing Brüggen facility and develop its operations in Brüggen. On 10 January 2023, Teknos informed its employees in Germany that the relocation of production from Fulda to Brüggen was planned. Approximately 20 jobs in production, logistics and R&D are affected by these plans. Employees outside production, logistics and R&D will not be affected by this situation. Source
