Teknopanel makes TİM's Top 1,000 Exporters List

Teknopanel Among Turkey's Top 1,000 Exporters Listed by TİM TİM released its ranking of Turkey's top 1,000 exporting companies by export volume. The sandwich panel and EPS products manufacturer, which exports to 102 countries across five continents, became the only company from its sector on the list. Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) published the 2022 edition of Turkey's Top 1,000 Exporters list, prepared to recognize exporters and provide them with motivation. In the report ranking 1,000 companies that fly the Turkish flag through their products and services around the world by export size, Teknopanel, a sandwich panel and EPS products manufacturer exporting to 102 countries across five continents, became the only company from its sector to make the list. Sharing his assessment on the matter, Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci stated, "Turkey's Top 1,000 Exporters list, regularly published by our Turkish Exporters Assembly, demonstrates the added value we provide to our country's economy while encouraging us toward new achievements. We are proud to be the only company from our sector on this important list."

Exports to 102 countries across five continents

Operating since 2005, the company exports to 102 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, ranking 76th in the steel category and 842nd in the overall rankings on the list featuring Turkey's largest exporters. Emphasizing that they increase their export figures annually, Orhan Kahveci said, "Since our founding day, we work to serve our customers with world-standard service through ideas that transcend four walls. With our insulated roof and facade sandwich panels and EPS products, we proudly carry our country's flag in every region where we operate. Very soon, we will add Australia as the sixth continent to our export markets."

Opening its fifth factory in North Macedonia

Teknopanel General Manager Orhan Kahveci emphasized the company's annual production capacity of 13.5 million square meters of sandwich panels and 1.6 million cubic meters of EPS, stating, "As an industrial company with the sector's first and only R&D center, we have consistently ranked as the sector leader in Istanbul Chamber of Industry's ISO Top 500 Industrial Establishments ranking for eight consecutive years. At our facilities in Mersin, Sakarya, İzmir and Istanbul, which rank among Europe's most modern plants and cover a total area of 123,000 square meters, we bring our sandwich panels, EPS and other products produced with the efforts of over 500 employees to customers through 150 authorized service points domestically and over 120 business partners internationally." Emphasizing that the number of production facilities will increase to five in 2023, Orhan Kahveci stated, "We will open our new factory in North Macedonia, and with this facility we will add 3 million square meters of sandwich panel and 350,000 cubic meters of EPS products to our production capacity. Our North Macedonia factory will take the Teknopanel brand's recognition in the European market to the next level."

Teknopanel has not remained silent on the container city needs in earthquake zones; it is participating with full force in the project being conducted under the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce and AFAD. To meet the demand for 2.8 million square meters of insulated sandwich roof and facade panels needed for the first phase of container city construction in the region, the company is mobilizing 65% of its production lines.
