Symphony Coatings and HMG Paints expand partnership

The United Kingdom's leading independent paints manufacturer HMG Paints Ltd has announced a new partnership with Symphony Coatings. Through the partnership, HMG's industrial coatings and colour-matching capabilities will be available from three additional Symphony Coatings branches. The two companies worked closely to ensure Symphony Coatings can provide the right solution for any requirement their customers may have. As part of this process, Symphony Coatings' technical team completed comprehensive HMG product training to support customer enquiries. HMG Paints Ltd is a family company based in Manchester with a broad product portfolio covering nearly every surface type imaginable, including wet paints, powder coatings and aerosols. These products will now be available through Symphony Coatings Colchester, Symphony Coatings Thetford and Symphony Coatings Birmingham.

Danny Cleary, Sales Director at HMG, commented on the expanded partnership. Symphony Coatings is a leader in colour matching, meaning it can produce all HMG products in every colour. Symphony has equipped three colour-matching laboratories with brand new tinting machines. It will also hold large stocks of the majority of HMG products for next-day delivery. The new tinting machines will enable Symphony Coatings customers to access 40,000 colour formulations available through ColourBase formulation software, which includes the Unit Lite mixing scheme and BS, RAL and commercial vehicle colours. Unit Lite is an extremely flexible tinting system covering topcoats, undercoats, primers and sealers as well as various gloss levels, textures and finishes. The software is also used across a range of industries including Industrial, Commercial Vehicle, Agricultural and Construction Equipment and many more.
