Sintek Group and Muğla Çimento Sign Agreement

Agreements were signed for the new integrated cement plant of Muğla Çimento, which is part of the Kent Şirketler Grubu. According to the cooperation agreement signed between Sintek Group and Muğla Çimento, the plant, to be established as a greenfield facility in the Yatağan district of Muğla, will have a daily clinker capacity of 4,500 tons. Under the project scope, Sintek Group will undertake construction and mechanical works, supply of auxiliary equipment and project management.

Camp setup and mobilization process to begin

The signed agreement includes completion of construction and assembly work on the clinker production line within 16 months following site handover, and complete commissioning within 18 months including the cement mill and packaging units. Total of 11,750 tons of assembly to be performed Within the scope of construction work; approximately 100,000 m³ of concrete will be poured and 16,000 tons of reinforcement steel will be used, and the clinker silo, meal silo and cement silo will be constructed using the sliding formwork method. Within the scope of mechanical works, a total of 11,750 tons of assembly will be performed; mills, crushing equipment, reclaimers and stacker equipment, tracked loaders and similar equipment will be supplied under Sintek's scope. System filter manufacturing will be carried out at Sintek's workshop in Ankara and other miscellaneous equipment will be sourced from Turkey. A significant portion of technological equipment manufacturing will also be carried out at the Sintek site workshop.
