Safetykleen Acquires Majority Control of Metalwash

Safetykleen, a leading company in parts cleaning and surface treatment services, has announced that it has acquired majority control of voting rights at both board and shareholder level of Metalwash. Metalwash specializes in the sale, lease and servicing of parts washing machines and automated cleaning solutions in the United Kingdom. Safetykleen retains the option to acquire the remaining shares of Metalwash at a later stage. At this stage, both companies will continue to operate separately under their existing management teams and brands. Safetykleen, which provides parts cleaning, waste management and environmental consulting services to customers in 13 countries including several European countries, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Brazil, is a provider of parts cleaning machines, parts cleaning services and waste management services in the United Kingdom. Safetykleen is entirely owned by funds advised and managed by Apax Partners LLP. Source
