Polisan Holding Selects 2022 Dream Engineers Polisan Holding held the second round of its "Dream Engineering Project Competition," inspired by the words of its late founder Necmettin Bitlis: "Everything starts with a dream." In the competition held across five categories, Polisan Holding will finance the winning projects to bring them to life. Additionally, competition winners were rewarded with a three-day trip to Germany. Polisan Holding CEO Mehmet Hacıkamiloğlu announced that the project, which was launched two years ago exclusively for employees of the holding and its subsidiaries, will be opened to university students as of 2023. For 59 years, Polisan Holding has added value to Turkey's economy and employment. It held the second round of its "Dream Engineering Project Competition," inspired by the words of its late founder Necmettin Bitlis: "Everything starts with a dream." Open only to employees of Polisan Holding and its subsidiary companies, the competition was organized in five categories: "innovative business ideas," "innovative marketing ideas," "improvements in customer processes," "productivity," and "outlier," with a decision made to support the winning projects. Additionally, the owners of the winning projects were rewarded with a three-day trip to Germany. The finalists had the opportunity to tour one of the world's most famous facilities located in Ludwigshafen and examine the latest technology up close.

Polisan's Dream Engineering Project Competition Will Open to the Public in 2023

  In a statement on the subject, CEO Mehmet Hacıkamiloğlu said: "Since 1964, Polisan Holding has been a place where dreams become reality and people are given opportunities to achieve self-realization. The architect of this stance and approach is our late founder Necmettin Bitlis. His words, 'Everything starts with a dream. Dreaming is not enough, you must envision it,' have always been a source of inspiration and encouragement for the holding and our employees. Two years ago, we decided to support this approach through a competition and launched the 'Dream Engineering Project Competition' for internal purposes. This year, we are pleased to hold the second round with significant participation from our employees. Just as last year, we will provide all necessary support for the implementation of the winning projects. As of 2023, we want to open the competition to university students throughout Turkey, touch the dreams of young engineers and designers, and turn them into reality. Our work on this continues at full speed," he said.

Winning Projects in the Competition Will Be Implemented with Polisan Support

According to the information provided by Mehmet Hacıkamiloğlu, this year's "Dream Engineering Project Competition" was organized in four categories: "innovative business ideas," "innovative marketing ideas," "improvements in customer processes," and "productivity." The jury special award was given to an "outlier" project independent of the categories. Under the heading of ideas that create value for the customer, İlknur Yorgancıoğlu won the award for "Innovative Business Idea," Hülya Acar for "Innovative Marketing" idea, and Mete Kayar for "Improvements Anticipated in Customer Processes." In line with the continuous improvement targets that have always been part of Polisan's vision, in the "Productivity Increase and Cost Reduction Activities" category, Emre Başkal, Cansu Göçer Fereli, and Görkem Şayhan's value proposition came first. Yakup Zorba received the jury special award for the outlier proposal independent of the categories. All winning projects across all categories were announced to be supported for implementation.
