Evoque™ Pre-Composite Polymer Technology TiO2 Optimization Providing Maximum Opacity

Due to its high refractive index, titanium dioxide is the sole pigment in decorative paints that cannot be replaced due to its opacity value. The light-bending power of TiO2 depends on particle size and geometry in the paint film. In high concentrations of TiO2 added to paint to achieve complete opacity, particles in the system become compressed and individual particles cluster by stacking on top of each other, resulting in reduced light refraction efficiency. Evoque particles adhering to the TiO2 surface create distance between pigments, causing opacity to increase. The most important characteristic of these innovative dispersion polymer particles with adhesion capability is that they provide strong interaction with the TiO2 surface. Strong interaction between Evoque and TiO2 achieves more stable results and maximum opacity compared to conventional latex particles.

The full film created on the surface combines with maximum opacity to increase light reflection performance without refraction and creates more vibrant colors and smoother surfaces. - Perfect whiteness and flexible structure, - With perfect film barrier, higher wear resistance, dust resistance, dirt pickup resistance, stain resistance and stain removal power are achieved. Perfect Color Matching

Color values of paints containing conventional binders show significant differences depending on the binder type used, because each conventional binder's interaction with additives differs from others. With Evoque, results very close to each other are obtained in terms of color values. Ambians Royal, with its silicone content and special resin's water-repelling and vapor permeability-enhancing properties, increases paint erasability while preventing swelling and peeling, especially in humid environments.
