OnurColor Provides Integrated Solutions With over 20 years of investment experience, Onur Makina has served as both a manufacturer and distributor in electrostatic powder coating units, tools, equipment and spray booths. As of 2021, the company integrated Elars Elektronik and PRJ Proje—previously operating units within its corporate structure—under a unified corporate umbrella. Built on a 20,000 m² open-field site, the facility now operates under the corporate brand OnurColor Company Group, reflecting all modern values of the new era. The company has internalized the motto of being "100% Domestic and National" since its establishment. It manufactures, markets, supplies spare parts and provides service for its registered brands Micron and StaTech Electrostatic Powder Coating Systems, booths, units and equipment—all of which are entirely proprietary products. The development process began with the manufacture of spray guns and units, the fundamental building blocks of electrostatic powder coating technology, and progressed step by step through a natural technological process from the setup of contract coating workshops to integrated facilities, reaching its current potential. Electrostatic Powder Coating Spray Guns Our electrostatic powder coating spray guns are available in standard and next-generation options. All our spray guns feature antistatic bodies and offer ease of use in manual applications through their ergonomic design and low weight. With PUR cables, our guns provide maximum safe working conditions, and their easily removable attachments enable rapid color changes. Specially designed electrodes and nozzles simplify maintenance and cleaning procedures. Converting values sent from the powder coating control unit into static electric energy, the gun sends necessary feedback signals to the system via a cascade. Thanks to nozzles available in different types, it is possible to coat products of different shapes with high precision and efficiency. Our spray guns feature flat, extended and angled head attachments for different coating requirements.

Electrostatic Powder Coating Robots

Automation or powder coating robots are preferred products in facilities of high-production-capacity workplaces. Depending on the product or product groups to be coated by the facility, single-axis, dual-axis, triple-axis or custom multi-axis options are recommended. Robots suitable for electrostatic powder coating and enamel coating applications work integrated with booths. Products conveyed into the booth are automatically coated by the homogeneous spray system of the powder coating robots. Our electrostatic powder coating robots, with specially designed motion and drive systems featuring slim bodies that reduce friction and vibration to minimum levels, are capable of delivering sinusoidal motion on the applied surface without distortion. Through their fast and precise operation system in powder coating, our robots provide smooth and homogeneous coating. Programmable distance and speed settings allow rapid position changes. The system operates synchronized with pump feeding and recovery systems. Remotely controllable via touchscreen options, the robots feature axis/automation controls, operating time memory and process memory suited to different coating options. In addition to high-quality equipment, the service life of our robots—which use trigger belts instead of chains—is at maximum level. The main bodies of our robotic systems, equipped with stainless materials, exhibit high resistance to corrosive effects.

Electrostatic Powder Coating Units

Our electrostatic powder coating units provide fast, economical and efficient coating areas thanks to adjustable current and voltage characteristics. Manufactured to suit various coating spray guns, our units operate with extraordinary efficiency capacity both on standard surfaces and challenging geometric shapes. Thanks to wear-resistant spray nozzles, they provide excellent powder distribution for difficult-to-coat products. Our units feature easy powder coating adjustment capability through optionally supplied digital or mechanical pressure gauges, and include coating memory features with 50 different settings. All our units are equipped with different menu options for standard smooth surface coating, second-coat coverage and textured surface coating requirements. Our units are available with or without hoppers. Our hopper-free products, owing to their vibrating base, feature the ability to draw and utilize powder coating at maximum efficiency. Hopper-free unit options offer rapid color changes and easy cleaning, and work in full compatibility with our new and legacy spray guns. Our powder coating units feature special options including digital static control, manual pneumatic control, recipe systems, mechanical rotating butane control and fast corona.

Electrostatic Powder Coating Ovens and Booths

Automatic and manual powder coating application booths are used to prevent powder from escaping the booth interior, thereby protecting human health and achieving maximum powder savings. Thanks to their ergonomic and modular structure, our powder coating booths can be easily assembled and provide fast and quality coating solutions through regular powder feeding without any interruption. Booths are manufactured as filtered, monocyclone or multicyclone types according to the facility's specific requirements. In our booths, powder particles that move with the air flow created by the exhaust fan and cannot adhere to the material are collected on filters inside the booth, preventing escape to the outside.

Surface Cleaning Systems

Spray and immersion type surface cleaning systems are used in electrostatic powder coating lines to achieve high-quality coating. During the project design phase of these systems, many technical details are carefully evaluated, including heating type, heating capacity, water circulation system, steam exhaust system and prevention of vapor and chemical mixing between tanks. Our surface cleaning systems, planned for maximum energy savings and minimum chemical/water consumption, are engineered for different applications including nano coating, degreasing/stripping, iron phosphate/zinc phosphate and chromating.

Electrostatic Powder Coating Conveyor Systems

In our electrostatic powder coating automation systems, we define all construction and equipment that maintain belt flow and transport of products during loading, washing, coating and baking/drying operations as conveyors. Our conveyors, featuring automatic or manual lubrication options suitable for operation under high heat, are specially designed taking into account the weight and dimensions of products processed by the powder coating facility.
