Nanofilm Acquires AxynTeC

Nanofilm Technologies International (Nanofilm), a leading provider of nanotechnology solutions, announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire AxynTeC Dünnschichttechnik GmbH as part of its growth strategy in Europe. This strategic acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions. AxynTeC is a professional thin-film coating solutions provider based in Augsburg, Germany, with a strong track record in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Using advanced process technology plasmaIMPAX, AxynTeC has successfully specialized in DLC coating expertise and provides solutions to customers in industrial, decorative and medical sectors.

Coating expertise aside, AxynTeC also has strong expertise in pulsed laser deposition and offers services such as contract manufacturing, engineering development and coating equipment supply.

This acquisition expands Nanofilm's solution portfolio with DLC expertise through integration of AxynTeC into the Advanced Materials Business Unit (AMBU), and provides a platform to deliver premium solutions to regional customers in Europe and accelerate the company's growth. Source
