Architectural Solutions Event Series Launched in İzmir

Saint-Gobain Turkey Launches Architectural Solutions for Sustainable Construction Event Series in Izmir. Saint-Gobain continues to convene with founding partners and founders of the country's leading architecture firms under the banner of "Saint-Gobain Architectural Solutions" in Turkey. Saint-Gobain Turkey, operating in Turkey with 13 brands including Weber, Vetrotech, Ecophone, Saint-Gobain Glass, PAM, Chryso, and Saint-Gobain Abrasives, and with subsidiaries including İzocam, Rigips and Dalsan, held the second launch of its "Saint-Gobain Architectural Solutions" event series for sustainable construction. The launch in Izmir, following Ankara, was hosted by LA Mahzen. Through these events, Saint-Gobain Turkey brings together the country's leading architects to present sustainable and lightweight construction solutions that use fewer natural resources, can be built in shorter timeframes, and offer higher performance in response to occupants' comfort requirements, as alternatives to heavy construction processes. Aslı Çelik, Marketing Director at Saint-Gobain Turkey, addressed the opening of the event by touching upon the major challenges humanity faces today, climate change, resource conservation, and housing shortage amid rising population, and continued as follows: "According to a 2021 United Nations report, 37 percent of global carbon emissions originate from buildings. A large part of the problem is linked to our sector, and through the steady steps we take, we will be a major part of the solution as well."

Kubilay Büyüklü, Director of Saint-Gobain Turkey Architectural Solutions, offered the following remarks on the subject:
