Marshall to Donate Paint to 100 Schools

Marshall and MTEGM have signed a 3-year cooperation protocol under which Marshall will donate paint for the painting of 100 schools and ensure students learn in pleasant environments, enriching their lives and education. For teachers educating future skilled workers, Marshall will organize training on state-of-the-art paints and colors. A Vocational and Technical Education Cooperation Protocol was signed between the Ministry of Education's Directorate General for Vocational and Technical Education and Marshall, Turkey's leading paint brand. Under the 3-year protocol, Marshall will donate paint for the painting of 100 schools in the region, support the preparation and updating of curricula and educational materials, and organize in-service training activities for teachers according to a schedule and program prepared jointly with MTEGM. By adding color to educational environments and supporting the new generation of youth, Marshall Paints is enriching their lives and learning capacity. Under the 3-year protocol signed on 25 February, a total of 150 teachers working at the relevant schools—50 in the first year—will receive training at Marshall's production facility on paint and components, paint manufacturing, paint and coating materials, paint application techniques and color science, and will pass this knowledge on to their students. Marshall is assigning 3 specialist employees from its staff for these training activities. These professionals will, where possible, participate in specialized classes and share their expertise with participants. The protocol also provides for Marshall to meet the paint requirements of the designated 100 schools. Additionally, Marshall will supply paint to provide practice materials support to the designated schools. Besides these, Marshall will, within its means, organize, support and participate in various activities such as career days, guidance and mentoring, meetings, seminars, conferences, competitions and technical site visits to develop vocational and technical education.
