Mapei Announces New Investments

Building chemicals manufacturer Mapei continues growth through new investments in Canada, Denmark and Saudi Arabia. Mapei is strengthening its position in the building chemicals sector through new investments. The company made a major investment by acquiring Diaplas, a brand specializing in profiles and coatings for floors and walls in Canada, and Bitumat, a leading company in the production and marketing of waterproofing systems in Saudi Arabia. Continuing its globalization strategy with these investments, Mapei also expanded in Denmark by acquiring a 15,000 m² factory in Vejen, Jutland that will house new offices, a warehouse and a facility for concrete admixtures production.
