Lomon Billions to Supply TiO2 to PPG

  PPG announced that it has begun sourcing titanium dioxide (TiO₂) pigment from Lomon Billions' new chloride production line. Purchase terms were not disclosed. Lomon Billions, one of the world's leading TiO₂ producers, has been manufacturing TiO₂ via the chloride process since 2015. The company announced in February 2018 that it had added a second chloride process TiO₂ production line, which began production earlier this year. PPG will source TiO₂ from the second series now in use at most of its global manufacturing facilities for paints and coatings production. The quality of the new line meets or exceeds PPG's TiO₂ requirements.
