KANSAI HELIOS Acquires New Company

KANSAI HELIOS Completes Acquisition KANSAI HELIOS Coatings GmbH, a consolidated subsidiary of Kansai Paint Co., Ltd in Europe, announced the completion of its acquisition of the global railway coatings business assets of Becker Industrie SAS, a company of Beckers Group. KANSAI HELIOS opened KANSAI HELIOS France SAS, its first subsidiary in France, which will represent the industrial coatings expertise of KANSAI HELIOS Group and operate the railway coatings business acquired from Beckers. The holding company in Austria and KANSAI HELIOS offer a broad range of coatings across Europe and in other regions of the world. KANSAI HELIOS owns two brands in railway coatings, Rembrandt and Helios, and has established a strong market position in Europe with these brands. Founded in 1865, Beckers Group is a worldwide leader in coil coatings and industrial paints supply, with production in 23 locations across 17 countries and sales in 60 countries. By taking over Beckers' business operations, KANSAI HELIOS, which has a strong position in railway coatings in France and neighboring countries and advanced technological capabilities, will be able to enter new markets such as France and further strengthen its competitive position in the industrial sector, including railway coatings, in Europe and worldwide.
