Thanks to its special formula, İzolatex 1K, which is made application-ready by mixing only with water, delivers superior performance in wet-area surfaces in interior and exterior spaces as well as in different application areas. Safe for use in potable water tanks, İzolatex 1K can be applied to balconies, concrete surfaces requiring protection against seawater and de-icing salts, and surfaces such as plaster and screed. When used before ceramic coating or screed, the product delivers a better and more reliable result when combined with 3501 Kalekim Corner Tape applied to room corners and joints.

High resistance in pressurised areas

While the standard pressure test for waterproofing accepts 1.5 bar pressure, İzolatex 1K successfully withstands 7 bar pressure, and with this property can be safely used in areas exposed to pressurised water. Thanks to its structure containing chemical additives that enhance waterproofing and workability, İzolatex 1K retains its flexibility even at sub-zero temperatures, and with its high resistance to chloride ions can be applied to concrete surfaces requiring protection against seawater and de-icing salts. In standard adhesion tests, the product delivers performance more than double that of standard products and is also preferred in different types of wet-area spaces such as spas, saunas, terraces and balconies.
