IZODER celebrates its 31st anniversary

İZODER, the roof organization of the insulation sector, is celebrating its 31st anniversary. İZODER Heat, Water, Sound and Fire Insulation Contractors Association, founded in 1993 to promote insulation awareness throughout Turkey, continues to pursue its projects without interruption. On one hand, the Association contributes to sector development by bringing together producers, distributors and installers of heat, water, sound and fire insulation materials under one roof, while on the other hand it works with all its might to raise public awareness of insulation to the highest level. Emrullah Eruslu, Chairman of the Board of Management of İZODER Heat, Water, Sound and Fire Insulation Contractors Association, stating that as an association they place public benefit above all else, said: "As İZODER, for a full 31 years we have been making intense efforts to advance our sector. While bringing our sector to the level of developed countries, we aim to contribute to the habitability of our world. Thanks to heat, water, sound and fire insulation, we are pioneering construction that uses natural resources efficiently, consumes less energy, is safe, comfortable, healthy and respectful to the environment. It must be remembered that insulation carried out with standards-compliant, correct materials and by qualified craftsmen will reduce carbon emissions and energy bills, make our buildings resilient to earthquakes and safe from fire, and eliminate the negative effects of noise. As İZODER has been since the day we were founded, we will continue to work with all our heart to achieve our goals in the future as well." Stating that İZODER carries out its work under different headings such as public awareness roadmaps, awareness-raising activities, corporate social responsibility projects and education, İZODER Chairman Emrullah Eruslu said, "We carry out the work we have undertaken with a collective spirit through collaborations with our member companies, sector stakeholders, universities and the public. As in previous years, we will continue in the coming years to present projects that place public benefit at the forefront while maintaining contact with all our sector stakeholders. Until our Association's 50th anniversary; we will continue our determination to achieve our goal of bringing our sector to the level of developed countries by ensuring the correct application of qualified insulation materials in accordance with their purpose. On the occasion of our 31st year, I would like to thank once again our members and all sector stakeholders whose support we have always felt in our work," he said. "We expect the conditions of the Insulation Loan to be further improved and continued"

Drawing attention to the fact that an important step was taken on 6 June 2022 on the "Insulation Loan" issue, which İZODER has been working on with relevant institutions for many years, Emrullah Eruslu concluded his statement with the following words: "Under the leadership of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the Treasury and Finance Ministry, the Insulation Loan, which was brought to life with İZODER's support, began to be provided by Ziraat Bank, Vakıfbank, Halkbank and Ziraat Participation banks. With the budgets to be provided by the relevant Ministries, we expect the conditions of the Insulation Loan to be further improved and continued in the coming period. Moreover, an important point we must emphasize is that our energy waste is 3 to 5 times higher when compared to developed countries. We need to bring our energy limits and U-values to the level of developed countries as soon as possible. As İZODER, we believe that the revision of the TS 825 Standard for Heat Insulation Rules in Buildings is of great importance in this regard. Again, we will work to increase the implementation of the Water Insulation Regulation in Buildings and the Regulation on Protection of Buildings from Noise, which are among the important headings for our sector and were prepared with İZODER's contributions and support on 1 June 2018. Similarly, we will continue our awareness-raising activities related to fire insulation within the scope of the Regulation on Protection of Buildings from Fire. We will also continue to convey the importance of duct insulation for the Green Deal and sustainable production at every opportunity."
