İzocam Adds Another Investment to Its Portfolio

İzocam adds another investment creating added value for the sector and the country's economy. İzocam, which uses recycled material—referred to as the "seventh natural resource"—comprising up to 80 percent of its production, has now implemented a dust-free cutting project that delivers significant savings in rock wool sandwich panel manufacturing. İzocam's project, which is environmentally, resource and economically friendly, also draws attention for its contributions to occupational health and safety. İzocam General Director Murat Savcı, noting that where dust previously formed during cutting on rock wool sandwich panel production lines was collected by suction systems and sent to filtration groups for disposal, production now takes place completely dust-free, stated that with this project contributing significantly to raw material consumption, they are targeting annual savings of over TRY 4.5 million.

Project contributes to occupational health and safety

İzocam's dust-free cutting project, which creates substantial added value through cost savings, also draws attention for the benefits it brings to occupational health and safety. İzocam General Director Murat Savcı, stating that they are committed to reducing risks to zero with the goal of "zero accidents, zero environmental incidents and zero occupational diseases," said that through the dust-free cutting project they have minimized dust levels that could form in production facilities, thereby achieving the goal of a healthy working environment for employees. Savcı noted that İzocam's dust-free cutting project also provides advantages to production workers through the operational ease it delivers. İzocam General Director Murat Savcı, expressing that through their work conducted under the motto "Safety starts with you," they have made environment, occupational health and safety an integral part of their daily operations with the participation of all employees, continued his remarks as follows: "We know that every day we spend safely and healthily will form the foundation for a safe and healthy year, safe and healthy tomorrows and a secure career environment for us all. At our Tarsus facility, İzocam has completed its third accident-free year and continues to invest in safe and healthy tomorrows with the aim of carrying these achievements forward into future years."
