İzocam Redesigns Foamboard Packaging

İzocam, which has led Turkey's insulation sector for 57 years, İzocam, had begun redesigning its packaging with the goal of "a good future for humanity and the world." After renewing packaging for its mineral wool product group in the previous period, İzocam has now redesigned the packaging for its Foamboard product. İzocam Foamboard packaging, which enables healthy, safe and cost-effective insulation, has been renewed with an emphasis on the global objectives established by the United Nations for Sustainable Development. The leading brand in the insulation sector, İzocam, continues to redesign its packaging to emphasize its contribution to the United Nations' global objectives for Sustainable Development, while also expressing its sensitivity to human health and the environment. In the new packaging for İzocam Foamboard, which is semi-transparent white, in addition to highlighting the product's contributions to the Development Goals, emphasis is also placed on the fact that this product does not contain hexabromocyclododecane or brominated flame retardants (HBCD). The new packaging for İzocam Foamboard product features 8 direct contributions the product makes to sustainability and the UN's global objectives. İzocam General Director Murat Savcı stated that they aim to highlight İzocam Foamboard's contribution within the scope of Global Objectives for Sustainable Development, which was developed by the UN as part of combating global climate change and is expected to be completed by 2030, and to increase awareness among industry professionals.

Savcı commented on İzocam Foamboard's new packaging as follows:

Due to our products being harmless to human health, providing energy savings and contributing to sustainability, we are fulfilling our role in achieving 8 important objectives among the UN's 17 global objectives, including 'Good Health and Well-Being', 'Affordable and Clean Energy', 'Decent Work and Economic Growth', 'Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure', 'Sustainable Cities and Communities', 'Responsible Production and Consumption', 'Climate Action' and 'Partnerships for the Goals'. However, we wanted to continue to lead in ensuring that both end users and industry professionals make insulation product choices with this awareness, know the product's contribution to reducing carbon emissions, and focus on the benefits it will provide them in both the short and long term, and we have incorporated this emphasis into our packaging."
