Inkmaker srl Announces Acquisition of German Company Swesa
Inkmaker srl announced that the acquisition of SWESA, a German company specializing in customized dosing systems, will be completed by the third quarter of 2020.
The addition of SWESA Dosiersysteme GmbH to Inkmaker Group, a global technology company based in Italy, marks another milestone in the company's global objective of providing comprehensive process engineering solutions to its customers.
This acquisition marks Inkmaker's third purchase since 2019
Inkmaker srl continues to strengthen its global position through acquisitions, having purchased Rexson Systems Limited and Vale-Tech Limited in the United Kingdom in October of last year, and Tecnopails S.n.c in Italy earlier this year. SWESA places great emphasis on environmental technology, implementing ecological and economic concepts through innovative dosing systems such as FLEXO and SMARTMaster. These machines, respected in the market for their robustness and durability, are known for requiring minimal maintenance. Additionally, SWESA's unique needle-free valves, which provide 100% ink circulation capability, serve an important global customer base from the food packaging, office furniture, paper tissue, and heavy-duty corrugated packaging industries. Christophe Rizzo, CEO EMEA and AMERICAS of Inkmaker Group, stated: "In recent years, Inkmaker has successfully grown its business in Germany. The growth achieved necessitated the next step, and the acquisition of SWESA is the logical result of this requirement. SWESA's expertise and technology are an excellent fit for Inkmaker Group. We will continue production of SWESA units in Germany. On behalf of the board of directors, we are pleased to welcome SWESA Dosiersysteme GmbH to our growing brand family."Roland Steinberg, General Manager and owner of SWESA, stated: "I am very pleased with the outcome. Inkmaker is a global leader supported by worldwide sales strength and service infrastructure as well as Industry 4.0 technology.
This is an important moment in our strategic global plan. Through Inkmaker's leadership and by joining the Inkmaker brand family, I am confident that SWESA's business continuity is guaranteed and that we are determined both to strengthen and expand our market position." As SWESA assumes a larger role within the Inkmaker group of companies, Roland Steinberg will continue to play an active role in sales. Following the acquisition, SWESA will continue to focus on specialized dispensing systems for food packaging, office furniture packaging, paper tissue, and heavy-duty corrugated packaging industries from its facility in Eltville am Rhein, Germany, while also continuing to support existing SWESA customers. Additionally, the company will receive support from Inkmaker Group's offices and sales and service representatives in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia. All representation rights for Inkmaker Group's brands, including Paints and Coatings, Water-based and Solvent-based Liquid Ink, Textile and Dye House markets, as well as laboratory equipment, belong to Odak Kimya Endüstrisi Ürünl.
