Holcim Acquires Sivyer Logistics
Holcim has acquired Sivyer Logistics, a leading producer of recycled construction and demolition waste (CDW) in the London construction market.
Sivyer currently processes approximately 1 million tonnes of material annually and uses the latest recycling and recovery technologies to recover over 500,000 tonnes of recycled aggregates and manufactured soils.
The acquisition is part of efforts to accelerate circular construction to make cities more sustainable.
Miljan Gutovic, Holcim Europe Regional Director: "Sivyer Logistics will help us advance circular construction and achieve our group's target of recycling 10 million tonnes of construction and demolition waste by 2025. I look forward to welcoming all Sivyer Logistics employees and investing together in our next phase of growth."
Sivyer Logistics, which operates six facilities across the capital, provides services including waste management, vehicle logistics, manufactured soils, primary and recycled aggregates and ready-mixed concrete.
The acquisition will contribute to Holcim's sustainability targets under "Strategy 2025 – Accelerating Green Growth," particularly the target of recycling 10 million tonnes of construction and demolition waste in its products by 2025.
