Holcim Acquires Chrono Chape
Holcim announced the acquisition of Chrono Chape, one of France's leading independent suppliers of on-site self-leveling screeds. These liquid applications are used to create a flat and smooth base onto which builders can lay floor finishes such as carpet or tiles.
Operating an innovative fleet of mixing trucks that blend and apply screeds directly at the customer's construction site, Chrono Chape provides zero-waste service by controlling the quantities of material required for each application with meticulous precision. Thanks to its reputation for innovation and efficiency, Chrono Chape has achieved double-digit growth in recent years.
Miljan Gutovic, Holcim Europe Regional President, stated: "I am excited to acquire Chrono Chape as another step forward on our 'Strategy 2025 – Accelerating Green Growth' path. With this operation, we will expand our service range and geographical footprint in France. Building on the entrepreneurial vision and legacy of the Dupuy family, I look forward to investing in the next growth phase of this business and warmly welcoming its employees to the Holcim family."
Chrono Chape was founded in 2005 in Longeault-Pluvault, a town near Dijon in France. With Chrono Chape becoming part of the Holcim network, the company is expected to achieve effective synergies with Holcim's ready-mix concrete operations in France.
