Hoffmann to Build Four Clinker-Free Cement Plants Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, which aims to reduce carbon emissions in the construction sector through the production and sale of innovative clinker-free cements, announced that it has signed an agreement with Shurfah Holding.

The agreement covers the main points of an exclusive licensing contract for the construction of four Hoffmann plants in Saudi Arabia.

In 2022, Hoffmann Green and Shurfah Holding signed a letter of intent for the testing phase, which enabled Hoffmann clinker-free cement to be tested in Saudi Arabia and the production process to be evaluated locally. Following these highly successful tests, the two institutions decided to accelerate their cooperation by signing an agreement that sets out the main points of the licensing contract, which will be signed within the coming weeks. As a result of the licensing agreement, four Hoffmann plants based on the same model as H2, Hoffmann Green's second production unit, which opened last month in Bournezeau (northwest Vendée, France), will be constructed in Saudi Arabia. These facilities will be financed and operated by Shurfah Holding, which will market Hoffmann Green's clinker-free cement in Saudi Arabia. The first plant will be constructed in Riyadh.
