HMG Paints Ltd announced a new distribution partnership with Breakwells Paints Ltd, based in West Midlands, offering some of HMG's most popular products ranging from Industrial coatings to Narrowboat and specialist UPVC coatings. Breakwells is moving into its next phase of expansion by introducing HMG's low-VOC, child-safe decorative paint in the first quarter of 2021.
- Breakwells Paints Limited, entering its 20th year, is currently owned by Managing Director Russell Eynon. Russell, a qualified accountant who has been working in the business for 18 months, has set ambitious growth plans to rebuild the Breakwells Paints business. Already established in the Narrowboat sector, Breakwells has begun working with HMG's specialist coatings, complemented by an in-house tinting machine. The Walsall-based distributor is establishing local supply partnerships with numerous businesses that have individual paint requirements.
Breakwells is pleased to be working with HMG, one of the last remaining British paint manufacturers, which recently became accredited with the Made in Britain collective brand that unites the British manufacturing sector and helps consumers, buyers and specification writers identify available products. Breakwells has invested in a water-based tinting machine that works with HMG's MSH colorants, launched in the first quarter of 2021. HMG's MSH water-based colorants, designed for decorative and architectural markets, are free of VOC, NPE and APE, meaning they are better for the environment. This enables Breakwells to offer HMG's decorative paints and match any color on demand. With both industrial and decorative tinting systems, Breakwells sets no limits on what it can offer its customers.
