Graffiti Work Completed at Istanbul Airport with Support from Filli Boya

Six of Turkey's leading graffiti artists created a graffiti work on a wall approximately 600 metres long at Istanbul Airport, which stands out for its services as the world's most important global transfer hub and 5-star airport, under the leadership of Filli Boya and IGA. For the work, which is Turkey's largest graffiti, Filli Boya contributed by adding colour to an area of 3,500 m². Filli Boya, leader of Turkey's paints sector, joined forces with IGA, the operator of Istanbul Airport, and the General Directorate of Highways to add colour to a wall approximately 600 metres long on the Istanbul Airport road. In carrying out this special project, project partners Filli Boya and IGA collaborated with Emir Aktunç, Emrullah Örünklü, Furkan Birgün, İbrahim Kurtuluş, Can Berk El, and Yusuf Aygeç, who are among Turkey's leading painters and graffiti artists. On a wall covering 3,500 m² at Istanbul Airport, the world's most important global transfer hub, a work created under the theme "Children's Flight Dreams" depicted children from around the world together. The paints and auxiliary materials for the work, which is Turkey's largest graffiti, were provided by Filli Boya, which has always stood out in the paints sector for its strength, colours and support for art. The works, completed in 4 months with the participation of a total of 45 people including artists, received contributions from IGA Istanbul Airport Corporate Communications Department, IGA design team and Filli Boya-Betek Boya teams. The creative concept and work plan for the project were carried out by BUBU Design Reklamcılık, while all product support for the work was provided by Filli Boya. An average area of 3,500 m² was painted with primer and base paints. All the colours used in Turkey's largest graffiti work were specially developed and designed by Filli Boya's R&D department. The colours and structure of the products were meticulously prepared, creating a special collection. Filli Boya also conducted analysis and testing on the substrate and contributed to proper substrate application.   Since the work was carried out in an open area on a wall nearly 600 metres long, adverse weather conditions were taken into account. For the project to be realised, 2 artist caravans, 3 containers, 10 cranes and 3 generators operated continuously.
