Eagle Materials Announces New Acquisition Eagle Materials Inc. announced the purchase of Martin Marietta's cement import and distribution business in Northern California, including the Stockton, Northern California cement production facility. The acquisition aligns with Eagle Materials' strategic objectives to expand and strengthen its distribution network within the US cement production system located in the central part of the country. Michael Haack, President and Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Materials, stated: "Our Nevada Cement operations have long-standing customer relationships in Northern California, and this acquisition positions us uniquely to better serve these customers and new customers with complementary imported products. Our entire cement system is currently under acquisition and this purchase will enable us to participate more actively in the strong demand environment in the US.
