DYO Among Companies Generating "Domestic Added Value"
DYO has added another achievement to its success by being included among organizations generating "Domestic Value Added" in the Value Added Index research, the second edition of which was prepared by Türkiye İtibar Akademisi this year.
DYO's Target: Focus on Digitalization and Innovation
Evaluating the achievements gained, DYO General Manager M. Mutlu Uysal, made the following statements on the subject: "At our İzmir and Kocaeli facilities, we produce paints for exactly 11 main sectors and dozens of subsectors linked to these sectors. With our strong ecosystem, we monitor all market conditions in real time, and with our agile management approach, we make quick decisions and take action. With our Çiğli R&D and Dilovası R&D centers, which rank among Turkey's top 10 R&D centers, we continue to play a leading role in the sector and drive market direction. We continue to export to over 50 countries in Asia, Europe and Africa markets through our international business partners. In the coming years, we will prioritize digitalization investments and strengthen our portfolio with innovation and sustainability-focused products, while also developing sustainability and climate-focused approaches to create social, environmental and social value."Index Covers Companies Trading on Borsa İstanbul
The commercial performance data included in the Value Added Index provides 100 percent accuracy because the data comes from companies trading on Borsa İstanbul and having undergone independent audit. Calculations were made based on five different variables under the headings of patents, trademarks, industrial designs, exports and period profit, taking into account 2021 data for companies trading on Borsa İstanbul. In addition, activity reports published by companies, data released by the Capital Markets Board and Turkish Patent Institute were compiled, and the Academic Board of İtibar Akademisi determined different point weights by taking into account whether companies operate in the 'Services' and 'Manufacturing' sectors according to their business lines.Advertisement
