DYO's R&D Project Wins 3rd Place Award

DYO R&D Project Wins Third-Place Award DYO received a third-place award in the Most Innovative Scientific-Based Project Paper Category Across All Sectors at the RDCONF International Research-Development and Design Conference for its project titled "Evaluation of Hybrid Pigment Effects in Polyurethane Dispersion." DYO achieved third place in the "Most Innovative Scientific-Based Project Paper Across All Sectors" category at the RDCONF International Conference on Design, Research and Development 2022 with a project paper on "Evaluation of Hybrid Pigment Effects in Polyurethane Dispersion." The award ceremony, held online, was attended by DYO representatives: Hasan Şerefhan, Technical Factory Director for Construction Paints; Fidan Bal, R&D Specialist; Mehmet Özdemir, Research and Patent Engineer; and Onur Uygun, R&D Engineer.

Evaluation of Hybrid Pigment Effects in Polyurethane Dispersion

The project, conducted at DYO Paint Factories' Dilovası R&D Center and supervised by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Aytaç, was the doctoral thesis work of Research and Patent Engineer Mehmet Özdemir. Titled "Evaluation of the hybrid pigment effects in polyurethane dispersion," the project improved the rheological stability and UV radiation reflection performance of polyurethane dispersions through the use of iron oxide and nano-zinc oxide hybrid pigments.
