Global Cement Sector to Meet at This Exhibition
The 16th edition of the TÜRKÇİMENTO International Technical Seminar and Exhibition Program, organized by TÜRKÇİMENTO, the umbrella organization of the cement sector, which brings together the global cement industry, will take place 24-28 October in Antalya Belek.
Organized by TÜRKÇİMENTO since 1987, this year's event aims to bring together the cement sector with domestic and international supplier companies providing technology and equipment to the sector under the theme "The Future of Cement in the Green Transition."
For the first time this year, the program will also organize the CEMINT 2022 program specifically for the cement sector to determine 2023 cement sector foreign trade forecasts and establish an export roadmap, as well as to diversify markets.
The seminar and exhibition, taking place for the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic, allows manufacturers to follow the latest developments and gives participants an opportunity to compare their business areas, while also creating an opportunity to evaluate new investments.
The 16th TÜRKÇİMENTO International Technical Seminar and Exhibition Program will conclude with a closing session on energy. This session will be addressed by experts with global prominence in developments in the energy world, the global implications of the energy crisis, and green energy.

TÜRKÇİMENTO is a civil society organization established in 1957 with association status. It represents a total of 67 facilities, comprising 51 integrated plants and 16 grinding mills in Turkey. TÜRKÇİMENTO is a representative of the cement sector, organized as a civil society organization, which produces one of the most important materials in the country's development and restructuring.
As the international representative of Turkey's cement sector, TÜRKÇİMENTO has been a member of the European Cement Association since 1972, and has also successfully undertaken many responsibilities ranging from research and development services, education, international cooperation, certification, sectoral data compilation, and cooperation with universities, civil society organizations and other relevant institutions. As a member of the European Cement Association (CEMBUREAU), TÜRKÇİMENTO also manages the international relations of Turkey's cement sector.
