Chlor*Rid™ Product Line Acquired

Corrosion Innovations, LLC Acquires Chlor*Rid™ Product Line Archie Cox, Jr, Chairman of the Board of Corrosion Innovations, LLC, announced the acquisition of the Chlor*Rid™ product line from Milliken & Company ("Milliken"). The Chlor*Rid™ product group includes surface decontamination products, passivation products, and salt test kits for soluble salt detection and removal. Marlin Lester, CEO of Corrosion Innovations, said, "Chlor*Rid™ has formed the foundation of the industry for over 30 years and has been a strategic objective of ours from day one," continuing: "The liquid products and test kits are used by many different sectors worldwide, including the U.S. military. Our team of AMPP-certified subject matter experts is ready to integrate Chlor*Rid™ into our leading business unit in the market and provide a synergistic approach to soluble salt removal and testing in the industry." Milliken decided to divest the Chlor*Rid™ line as it no longer aligns with the company's general coatings additives business strategy. Milliken will continue to serve the coatings additives market through its diverse portfolio, including Borchers: A Milliken Brand, in performance additives for coatings, ink and adhesive markets.
