BYK has officially opened its new mini-plant in Shanghai, China. This state-of-the-art facility allows BYK to provide its customers with faster, more flexible and customised additive solutions. The plant forms one of the key strategic components of the company’s global production network.
Designed specifically for local needs, the new mini-plant has highly flexible production capacity. This will allow it to meet rapidly changing demand, particularly in the Chinese market. With an annual production capacity of 500 metric tonnes, the plant will produce silicone-based, silicone-free and wax-based additives for a wide range of industrial applications.
