Brenntag Opens Innovation Center in Duisburg, Germany

Brenntag opened a new Innovation Centre in Duisburg, Germany. This centre is the first application centre in Germany for coatings, adhesives and construction industries, and the seventh across Brenntag's entire EMEA region. The new Innovation Centre will be jointly used by Brenntag, a Brenntag Group company, and BCD Chemie for projects targeting coatings, adhesives and construction applications. Customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can now benefit from formulating new products and evaluating new materials across a wide range of applications. Christian Frimann, Head of Material Science EMEA at Brenntag Specialties, commented on the matter. Frimann stated that technical experts understand changing customer demands in today's market and are thereby able to provide individual solutions and encourage new ideas that meet these demands. Frimann said: "The Innovation Centre network strengthens us, brings us even closer to our customers and demonstrates our commitment to adding value to the raw materials we can supply."
